We’re Koinonia. It’s nice to meet you. Koinonia is Greek for fellowship, and that’s precisely what we do: fellowship with God and fellowship with people. We are a Christian college group at SF State that focuses on how God is relevant to our lives as college students.
College is a fun and exciting time to build life-long friendships and start thinking about life. So whether you are a Christian who wants to grow in your faith, or someone simply curious about what Christianity is all about, we welcome you to join us for the journey. See you soon!
Whether you’re just curious about Christianity or actively seeking God, you’ll find a home for your questions at Koinonia. We are all about exploring these big issues through small group discussions, Bible studies, and courses on the basics of Christianity.
At Koinonia, we want to genuinely connect with one another to build meaningful relationships. Through small group dinners and large group outings, we lower barriers and share life together - through the good, the bad, and life after college!
No fellowship is complete without times to just hang out and have fun. So, come join us for our game nights, outings, camping trips, potlucks, and hangouts in each other’s homes
These juniors and seniors coordinate campus logistics and are the helping hands of Koinonia. They represent our group to the ASI:
President - Emily
Vice President - Chiem
Treasurer - Adrian
Secretary - Kelly
Though not required of our members, many of us attend Gracepoint - Berkeley. We provide rides to church as we know not every has a means of getting there. We'd love for you to join us!
We usually meet together for rides at a place called "Dormstop." Affectionally named for the stop sign near the Mary Ward dorm. If you're interested in attending, please contact us - firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you there!
